A Chinese company will construct a 200-kilometer road and four overpasses in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The mayor of the capital, Shavkat Umurzakov, announced that $300 million, approximately 3.84 trillion soums, has been attracted for this project from China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
The funds will primarily be directed towards the reconstruction of Shota Rustaveli Street, the construction of new roads, and the establishment of existing overpasses. Within the framework of construction and repair works, the President has instructed to make necessary amendments to the legislation in the construction sector.
Additionally, the construction and repair of roads from building to building in Tashkent city is also planned. These works will contribute to improving the capital's infrastructure and enhancing road traffic safety.
As a result of the project's implementation, the flow of transport in the city will be organized efficiently, and the quality of road infrastructure will significantly improve
