Important decisions related to children's education have been made in the Khojayli and Taxiyatash districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to local authorities, all state and private preschool educational institutions in the region will temporarily suspend their activities from July 16 to 18. The main reason for this restriction is the abnormal heat wave.
According to O'zgidromet, during these days, the air temperature is expected to exceed +40 degrees in some places, reaching up to +44 degrees. As emphasized in the decision of the Khojayli district governor, it is impossible to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for children in kindergartens under such high temperature conditions.
For this reason, activities have been temporarily suspended, and the health of children has been prioritized. The governor of Taxiyatash district also noted that the heat is causing temperatures inside buildings to exceed 35 degrees as well as outside.
This situation could negatively affect children's health. The legal basis for the decision was established by official letters from the district's Sanitary-Epidemiological Safety and Public Health departments.
Experts believe that the current conditions in kindergarten buildings are insufficient for air circulation and monitoring of the internal environment. Officials stated that this restriction is temporary and that kindergartens will resume their activities once the weather conditions improve.
Many citizens on social media are supporting the decision and expressing gratitude to the authorities for prioritizing children's safety. This situation has highlighted the need for prompt and reasonable decisions in future situations related to temperature conditions.
Because the health of children is above any education.
