Do married men live longer than single men?

The duration of human life depends on many factors. For men, one of these factors is whether they are married or single. This was proven by the staff of the Department of Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the National Medical Research Center of the Russian Ministry of Health after 16 years of analysis and observation.
Since 2007, for 16 years, the Ministry of Health staff studied the risk factors for the development of various diseases. As a result, it was determined that not only physiological but also social factors affect the duration and quality of human life. The research results showed that married men live longer. Moreover, having a family also affects the longevity of men's professions. Those engaged in mental labor often live longer than others.
As for women, those who have children and have a high income live longer. Interestingly, women are diagnosed with more chronic diseases than men; however, because they are more likely to follow doctors' recommendations, this has less impact on their longevity.
Perhaps married men live longer because their spouses are more likely to follow doctors' advice.
It should be noted that some factors negatively affect the longevity of both genders. For men aged 44 to 64, the risk of early death is associated with high blood pressure, stress, smoking, and alcohol consumption. For women over 75, the main risk factors for early death are low blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, and stress.
Timely check-ups are the main way to prevent the development of serious diseases and early death.
