On August 10, 2025, a serious incident occurred in the city of Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Russian forces carried out airstrikes twice from the air. This was officially announced by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration.
According to Fedorov, the Russian army used guided aerial bombs of the KAB type. The first strike targeted the bus station where many people had gathered.
A loud noise erupted in this place, causing many people to panic and become frightened. According to official information, a total of 19 people were injured to varying degrees.
Most of the injured are in moderately serious condition. The second strike was delivered to the area of the Zaporizhzhia Medical University clinic.
No one was injured in this attack, fortunately. However, seven multi-story buildings and several non-residential structures were damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned this incident in his evening address. He emphasized that such actions by Russia are not a single positive step towards peace.
"Everyone can see — Russia is making no effort to preserve life on the ground or in the air. Therefore, sanctions and pressure are necessary," said Zelensky.
This incident once again demonstrated that the cities of Ukraine are still under threat and that the population must constantly take precautionary measures. At the same time, local services acted quickly to assist the victims and strengthened necessary measures to ensure safety.
