The first pilgrims have departed for Saudi Arabia within the framework of the 2025/2026 “Umrah” season. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On August 14, the first group of the “Umrah – 2025/2026” season flew from Tashkent International Airport to the city of Jeddah on a flight operated by Uzbekistan Airways. According to the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan, a total of 240 compatriots set out on this journey to perform the sacred pilgrimage.
According to the program, the pilgrims will initially stay in the city of Medina for three days. During this period, they will visit the Mosque of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the blessed sites around the city.
Then they will proceed to the city of Mecca, where they will perform Umrah rituals for seven days. The organizers have created comfortable and peaceful conditions for the pilgrims.
In Medina, the guests will be accommodated at the “Grand Shahba” hotel, and in Mecca at modern and cozy hotels such as “Al-Ayyam Elite” and “Marmara Hotel.” Every day, they will be served three hot meals, various sweets, and fresh fruits.
During the Umrah trip, the group will be accompanied by experienced staff, well-known imams and khatibs, and qualified doctors. Their main task is to ensure the spiritual and physical well-being of the pilgrims.
Additionally, within the program, a trip to the Red Sea coast in Jeddah is also planned. This will provide the pilgrims not only with a spiritual but also a cultural experience and rich impressions.
According to officials, this trip is one of the largest and most well-organized groups at the beginning of the “Umrah” season and is expected to leave unforgettable memories for all pilgrims.
