Military plane caught fire in the air in Malaysia

A military fighter jet belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force caught fire and crashed while taking off from Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah International Airport in Kuantan city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to The Star news portal, the incident occurred shortly after the plane took off. The military aircraft lost control and crashed due to fire after a short flight.

According to the Malaysian Ministry of Defense, the two pilots on board were successfully ejected from the aircraft with the help of a modern safety system. Both were hospitalized and are currently in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.

The causes of the plane crash are currently being investigated. Experts have formed a special commission to identify technical malfunctions or other factors.

Kuantan airport is considered one of the country's important military and civil aviation centers, which is why the incident caused great concern among the Malaysian public. Officials stated that the investigation results will be announced to the public soon.
