Execution for films has begun in North Korea

The United Nations report states that the North Korean government has started executing citizens who have watched or distributed foreign films and series. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to refugees, since 2020, such people have been publicly shot. The report also highlights increased control over the population and restrictions on freedoms in the country.

The population is not allowed to engage in independent trade, and crossing the border is almost impossible. Refugees expressed hope that life would improve when Kim Jong Un came to power.

However, due to increased focus on the nuclear program, living conditions have worsened and finding food has become more difficult. The UN report notes that forced labor and prison camps still exist in North Korea.

The organization demands that Pyongyang stop executions and grant more rights to citizens. This situation indicates serious problems in the field of human rights and freedoms.
