Women choose shorter men less often
British relationship expert Tracey Cox analyzed in an interview with the Daily Mail why women refuse to date men shorter than 160 centimeters. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to her, this decision is often not openly stated, but women explain their choice by feeling femininity or a sense of security next to a tall man. Some women simply admit that they do not choose such men because of kissing, hugging, or their friends' relationships.

Some even openly say: “I would rather stay single for life than date a short guy.” Such decisions are difficult for shorter men, as they face the risk of rejection, feeling inadequate, and depression.

Research shows that men taller than 180 centimeters receive 40 percent more responses on dating apps, earn more, and are more recognized in leadership positions. Nevertheless, some women are abandoning old stereotypes and establishing strong and sincere relationships with shorter men with whom they feel free.

“If my height doesn’t bother him, I won’t be bothered either,” says one of these women. This situation indicates that societal values are changing.
