
According to Saudi Arabian officials, new financial aid has been allocated to the internationally recognized government of Yemen. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The amount of the new aid is 1.38 billion Saudi riyals, approximately 368 million US dollars. This was stated by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The allocated funds are being provided within the framework of the "Yemen Development and Reconstruction Program." These funds are directed directly to the Yemeni state budget.
Additionally, it is planned to cover fuel product expenses and support the operation of the Muhammad bin Salman hospital in the city of Aden. According to UN data, the situation in Yemen remains severe.
Approximately 80 percent of the country's population, more than 24 million people, are in need of humanitarian aid. It has also been noted that there are over 4 million internally displaced persons.
This aid is expected to play an important role in improving the lives of the population.
