Russia: US Tomahawk deliveries increase risk

Russia has announced that the delivery of Tomahawk missiles by the US to Ukraine could lead to an escalation of the war. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Kremlin representatives emphasize that this step directly increases the risk of confrontation. According to Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the main question is who will launch the missiles – only Ukrainian military personnel or will American specialists also be involved.

He stated that such a decision requires thorough analysis and could increase the risk. The head of the Russian parliament's defense committee, Andrey Kartapolov, also stressed that if US specialists assist Ukraine in launching the missiles, they will become a primary target for Moscow.

According to him, in such a situation, no one will be able to protect them. Additionally, Russia's former president Dmitry Medvedev warned Europe, reminding that this decision could further increase the nuclear risk.

These warnings indicate concerns about the further complication of the war.
