Tokayev and Durov discussed artificial intelligence cooperation

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger, within the framework of the Digital Bridge 2025 international forum. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the fields of education, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity were discussed. The President highly appreciated the messenger's role in the country's digital development.

The Telegram company officially became a member of Astana Hub and opened its office in Kazakhstan. Additionally, artificial intelligence laboratories started operating at the AIem.Ai center.

The contribution of this center to the advancement of new technologies and science was especially emphasized. Pavel Durov presented to the Kazakh leader prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence.

This cooperation serves the bilateral development and promotion of innovations. As a result of the meeting, the country's digital potential is expected to be further strengthened.
