Farrosh Mulikat Ogunmode was revealed to have secretly worked at Deutsche Bank during the day and in the British Parliament at night for 16 years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
After this situation was uncovered, he was expelled from Parliament. The Daily Mail reported on this matter.
From 2008 to 2024, Ogunmode violated the minimum 11-hour rest period between shifts. He combined shifts at two workplaces on working days.
After this was disclosed in Parliament, he was dismissed for violating laws that limit working hours. Ogunmode stated that he was feeling well and spending his rest days properly, but his contract was terminated.
He accused his employer of unfair dismissal and illegal withholding of wages and took the case to court. However, the judge rejected all his claims and found the dismissal decision justified.
The judge emphasized that his actions were against the law and could pose risks to his health, safety, and public interests. Additionally, he was accused of not providing accurate information about his second job.
This incident once again highlighted the importance of complying with laws regulating working hours.
