Chinese scientists are working on creating pills capable of significantly extending human life. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by *The New York Times*. According to the information, the startup "Lonvi Biosciences," located in Shenzhen city, is conducting scientific research aimed at slowing down the aging process and extending lifespan.
The main component of the new pills developed by them is procyanidin C1 (PCC1), a substance derived from grape seeds. During the research, scientists conducted tests on mice and achieved interesting results.
It was found that this substance extended the lifespan of mice by an average of 9.4% and increased their active life period by 64%. According to Liu Xinhua, the technical director of Lonvi Biosciences, this technology could potentially be applied to humans in the future.
He said: “The dream of reaching 150 years old may now have a scientific basis. I believe this will become a reality in the near future.” According to experts, if the trials are successfully completed, this research could mark a new era in the fight against aging.
