Uzbek national wanted in the US arrested
An Uzbek citizen, 31-year-old Akhror Bozorov, was arrested in the United States. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He was wanted for participating in a terrorist organization in Uzbekistan. Bozorov was detained on November 9 in the state of Kansas by officers of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

At that time, he was working as a truck driver. According to Uzbek officials, Bozorov was accused of distributing materials calling for jihad online and recruiting people for terrorist groups.

The Tashkent court issued an order for his arrest in 2022. According to US law enforcement agencies, Bozorov illegally crossed the US border in February 2023.

Border service officers detained him but later released him. In 2024, he obtained a work permit in the US and acquired a commercial driver's license in the state of Pennsylvania.

Currently, an investigation into Bozorov's activities is ongoing.
