500 thousand lira fine for likes on social media.
The situation arising from activity on social media in Turkey has sparked widespread discussions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Supreme Court confirmed that the husband was guilty of liking other women's photos. This was reported by the "Habertürk" publication.

It is known that the relationship between the husband and wife had been tense for a long time, and eventually, they applied to the court for divorce. According to the woman, her husband did not respect her, was negligent in providing financial support, and by liking photos of other women on social media, he violated family loyalty.

The court reviewed these claims and confirmed the woman's statements. As a result, the husband was found guilty in the divorce.

According to the decision, he was ordered to pay his ex-wife 500 thousand lira in moral damages and to provide 5 thousand lira in alimony each month. This decision was recorded by the Supreme Court as a precedent.

This may influence court decisions in similar cases in the future. This situation raised urgent issues regarding the impact of social media activity on family relationships.
