On November 23, 2025, the famous Russian actor Sergey Bezrukov sent a video message to comment on his words that caused widespread discussion on social media. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He initially planned not to comment on the matter, but due to many misinterpretations and remarks, he was forced to change his decision. According to Bezrukov, his words caused negative reactions on social media.
Some users took the actor’s story as a joke about the Uzbek language or the Uzbek people. However, the actor emphasized that he had no such intention and sincerely recounted an event that took place in Tashkent four years ago.
Speaking about that event, he recalled that they opened the cemetery at night to lay flowers in front of the Tatyana Yesenin statue. The actor added that he had always told this story in a positive tone and had never encountered such negative reactions before.
Bezrukov specifically noted his warm attitude towards the people of Uzbekistan. He said he knew very well that he was warmly accepted in Uzbekistan and that he tries to respond to this warmth in kind.
Referring to the popularity of the characters in his work, the actor also mentioned his many years of friendship with the Uzbek artist Mahmudov. At the end of his message, Bezrukov called on all viewers to remain calm, not to give in to emotions, and not to make hasty conclusions.
It should be recalled that the actor’s interview during his trip to Uzbekistan sparked wide discussions on social media. In particular, the Uzbek audience did not like the actor’s imitation of the local people’s speech.
