2025 was one of the hottest years for Earth
2025 went down in history as one of the hottest years for planet Earth. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Europe's global warming monitoring service provided this information on December 9. According to the publication "France24," the temperature indicators for 2025 reached the second highest level in history.

According to Copernicus Climate Service data, 2025 is expected to be the hottest year after 2023. It was once again confirmed that the global temperature is 1.5 degrees higher compared to the pre-industrial period.

This figure was set as a dangerous limit in the Paris Agreement. Samantha Burgess, head of Copernicus climate strategy, emphasized that the three-year average temperature between 2023 and 2025 exceeded 1.5 degrees for the first time.

This indicates that climate change is accelerating. According to Copernicus data, November was recorded as the third hottest November in history.

The average temperature for that month was 14.02 degrees. While higher than usual temperatures were observed in northern Canada and around Antarctica, strong cold anomalies were recorded in northeastern Russia.

Experts warn that even small temperature changes can disrupt the climate system, leading to an increase in natural disasters such as storms, floods, and forest fires. The main cause of climate change is identified as the large-scale burning of fuel resources and greenhouse gas emissions since the industrial revolution.
