British man Matt Jones held an unusual event dedicated to the memory of his wife. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He carried a 37-kilogram refrigerator on his shoulder and walked 112 kilometers. He took this step as a tribute to his wife’s words and memory.
It is known that in 2018 Matt Jones underwent hip joint replacement surgery. The doctor advised him to avoid physical exertion.
His wife jokingly said, "This fool will walk a long distance with a refrigerator on his back." Matt took these words as a challenge and decided to accomplish it.
Unfortunately, his wife passed away at the age of 43 due to heart disease. Matt was forced to raise four children on his own but never forgot his wife’s joking words.
He carried out this challenge to honor his beloved’s memory and to support the charity organization she backed. During the event, 50,000 pounds sterling was raised.
