Ticket sold in Arkansas won 1.8 billion dollars
On Christmas Day in the United States, one of the most remarkable events in the history of the country's lotteries occurred. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Powerball lottery jackpot reached 1.817 billion dollars. This huge prize was won by the owner of the only ticket purchased in the state of Arkansas.

It is reported that this amount is recorded as the fourth largest prize in the history of US lotteries. This situation once again confirms how high the interest in Powerball lottery games is.

The winner decides how to receive the prize. If they choose to take the prize as a lump sum payment, approximately 835 million dollars will be received after federal taxes are withheld.

This amount is sufficient to fundamentally change one's life. Experts emphasize that the chance of winning this lottery is very low — 1 in 292 million.

Nevertheless, since the jackpot had not been won for 46 consecutive draws, the prize amount gradually increased. During the holidays, a sharp increase in demand for lottery tickets was observed.

The Powerball lottery is held in 45 states of the US, and each ticket costs only 2 dollars. So far, the name of the lucky ticket owner has not been disclosed; only that the ticket was purchased in Arkansas is known.

This win became a memorable event not only for the winner but also in the history of lotteries across the entire country. Christmas truly became an unforgettable day for someone.
