This decision was formalized based on a decree signed by the country's President Sadyr Japarov. According to the press service of the Presidential Administration, the decree was adopted following a court ruling issued by the Pervomay District Court of Bishkek on June 3, 2025.
The decision was implemented in accordance with the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan and the law "On State Awards, Honorary Titles, and Monetary Rewards of the Kyrgyz Republic." According to the decree, Almazbek Atambayev has been deprived of the following awards: - The highest title "Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic"; - The Order of Manas, 2nd degree; - The Order of Danaker; - The Dank Medal.
