Zelenskiy: There is a possibility of an operation against Kadyrov

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has expressed another sharp opinion on increasing pressure against Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that the United States might conduct a military operation against the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in order to stop the war and influence Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelenskiy mentioned this idea during a conversation with journalists, noting that such actions are only one option.
While explaining his thoughts, Zelenskiy cited the events related to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro as an example. According to him, if such sharp and demonstrative actions are carried out, Putin might pay attention and reconsider his policies.
In this regard, the Reuters news agency recalled statements by former US President Donald Trump about operations in Venezuela and Maduro's capture. Zelenskiy also emphasized that the United States has sufficient means to exert political pressure.
According to him, Ukraine should be one of the priority directions of US foreign policy. However, Zelenskiy considers the ongoing negotiations with Russia as "stalling for time."
Meanwhile, various reports have been circulating about Ramzan Kadyrov appearing less frequently in public recently. Some sources speculate that his health has deteriorated.
At the same time, the talks about an "operation" mentioned by Zelenskiy are not an official plan but are regarded as a political signal. Such statements could further complicate the situation on the international stage.
In the coming weeks, any statements between the US, Russia, and Ukraine are likely to be more than mere words and could become part of major political processes.
