Aliya Galitska's funeral ceremony will take place soon
The date for Aliya Galitska's funeral ceremony has been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The investigator has given permission to bury Aliya Galitska, who died in a temporary detention facility near Moscow. This was stated by her lawyer Dmitry Yemelyanov.

According to the lawyer, after the autopsy and forensic examination were completed, the investigation was concluded. The funeral ceremony is planned to be held in the coming days.

News of Galitska's death spread last Sunday. According to earlier information, she committed suicide after being detained on February 6 by the decision of the Istra city court.

Galitskaya was detained on suspicion of extorting 150 million dollars from her ex-husband Alexander Galitsky. Alexander Galitsky was previously a member of the board of directors of one of the Russian banks.

Following the incident, the Russian Investigative Committee began examining the causes of death. The defense side demanded a review of precautionary measures.

Galitskaya denied the charges against her. It became known that last autumn Galitskaya filed a claim with the Presnensky court of Moscow against her ex-husband regarding property division.

During this process, the court imposed a ban on real estate belonging to Galitsky. The cadastral value of this property is 435 million rubles, while according to the claimant's account, the market value exceeds 1.2 billion rubles.

Due to Galitska's death, the court hearing scheduled for February 10 is expected to be suspended.
