A man attacked two women in a church in Chelyabinsk

In the city of Chelyabinsk, a 25-year-old man attacked two women with a knife inside a place of worship. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident occurred during morning prayers. This was announced by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
As a result of the attack, the injured women were hospitalized. According to information, one of them sustained minor injuries, while the other underwent surgery.
The incident took place at the "Unexpected Joy" icon church of Bibi Maryam located on Vorovsky Street. It is reported that among the victims were a nun and a praying woman.
The attacker has been apprehended. According to preliminary information from the Investigative Committee, the man attacked the women for trivial reasons.
According to law enforcement agencies, the man's mother serves at this place of worship and brought him there herself. It was also found that the attacker is registered in psychiatric records.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 30, Part 3 and Article 105, Part 2, Clauses "a" and "i" of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
