A new state allowance for children will be introduced in Kyrgyzstan

Starting from July 1, 2026, a new state allowance for children under three years old will be introduced in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This program, called "Bala irisi," envisages monthly payments for each child. According to the decree signed by President Sadir Japarov, the allowance amount will be 1200 Kyrgyz soms.
Importantly, this fund will be provided in the same amount to all citizens regardless of the family's income. The head of state emphasized that this decision was made taking into account numerous appeals and proposals from citizens.
According to Japarov, the early years of a person's life are very important for their future physical and mental potential. For this reason, the state considers supporting the younger generation as its priority task.
The president added, "Every child is born into the world with their own happiness and blessings." According to statistical data, nearly 445 thousand children under three years old currently live in Kyrgyzstan.
To implement this new social initiative, it is planned to allocate more than 530 million Kyrgyz soms from the state budget every month. This step is regarded as an important change aimed at strengthening demographic policy and supporting young families in the country.
