High-level talks were held between the Russian and Chinese leaders

The center of the world geopolitical arena has recently shifted to China, and this is no exaggeration. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the magnificent Hall of the People in Beijing, high-level official talks were held between the leaders of Russia and China. Notably, this reception followed a similar format and level of organization just a few days earlier, when Chinese leader Xi Jinping welcomed the U.S. President at the very same venue.
Following tradition, the talks between the two major state leaders began with a private, one-on-one session to discuss the most sensitive and confidential political issues. Afterward, the presidents continued broader discussions in the presence of their respective official delegations.
During his speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin specifically acknowledged that bilateral economic and trade relations are growing at exceptionally high rates. According to the Kremlin chief, friendship between Moscow and Beijing has today reached an unprecedented level of height.
According to reports from international news agencies, Putin proudly noted that over the past quarter-century, the volume of trade turnover between Russia and China has increased more than thirtyfold. He also emphasized that, despite ongoing sharp geopolitical upheavals in the Middle East, Russia remains a reliable and stable supplier of energy resources to China.
Putin invited Xi Jinping to pay an official visit to Russia next year and added that their alliance serves as a cornerstone of global stability. For reference, the Chinese leader had visited Russia as a guest last May.
According to Russian media, Putin expressed closeness by affectionately addressing Xi Jinping in the traditional manner as “my old friend,” and recalled a well-known Chinese saying: “One day without seeing each other feels like three autumns have passed.” This phrase is commonly used to convey deep longing after a long-awaited meeting and the arduous efforts made toward achieving a great goal.
In his opening remarks, the Chinese leader stressed that it is necessary for the two major powers to serve as mutual motivation and inspiration on the path of national rejuvenation and strategic renewal. Xi Jinping indicated that the reason bilateral relations have reached such a high level lies in the leaders’ ability to steer mutual political trust and firm cooperation in the right direction.
Furthermore, the Chinese leader warned that the world today finds itself in a dangerous situation — specifically, the fear of a return to jungle-like laws based on the law of the strong. As he emphasized, the current international political environment is highly complex and unstable, and movements toward unilateral dominance in the world are intensifying.
It was noted that this meeting holds significant importance not only for the two countries but also for the security of the entire region.
