Uzbeks in the USA Celebrate Independence Day in Manhattan

Uzbeks residing in the USA celebrated the next anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s state independence with great pomp in the heart of New York — Manhattan. One.uz reports on this.
The national flag of Uzbekistan was raised near Wall Street, considered the world’s financial center, and the famous Bowling Green. The event was attended by representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in the USA, diplomats, active youth, and numerous foreign guests.
Our flag was raised to the top to the sounds of the national anthem of Uzbekistan. Cultural program and performances During the event, dancers in national costumes performed our traditional dances, arousing great interest among New York residents and tourists.
In addition, exhibits of Uzbek national culture, unique embroidery and brocade garments, as well as national handicrafts were displayed. This event once again demonstrated the unity of our compatriots living abroad, their preservation of national identity, and their boundless love and affection for their motherland.
Our flag fluttering among the skyscrapers of New York showcased the grandeur of Uzbek culture and independence to the entire world.
