Tramp Atlantika has rejected the name change proposal.

US President Donald Trump said he approached Google CEO Sundar Pichai with a proposal to rename the Atlantic Ocean. One.uz reports this.
In a conversation shared with The Guardian publication, the president spoke about this during a rally in South Carolina on October 21. According to Trump's words, he contacted Pichai directly and asked for the possibility of renaming the ocean.
The head of Google rejected this proposal. Pichai explained to the president that oceans differ from other geographical objects, as they border the coasts of many countries, and cannot be renamed at the whim of a single state.
Following this response, Trump stated that he withdrew the idea of renaming the Atlantic Ocean. However, the president also expressed the idea of naming the Pacific Ocean "America Ocean."
Previously, the Trump administration had decided to rename the Gulf of Mexico to "America Gulf." Additionally, a proposal was made to change the name of Lake Ontario to "America Lake."
Google Maps is showing these updates only to US users, while the previous names remain in other countries.
