The new Cadillac Escalade IQL will be produced in 2025
Cadillac has introduced the extended version of its luxurious electric SUV model, the Escalade IQ — the Escalade IQL. Technically, it is the same as the regular Escalade IQ, but its increased length provides additional space for third-row seats and cargo. This model can travel 724 kilometers on a single charge and accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 4.7 seconds.
The Escalade IQL has been lengthened by 107 mm without changing the wheelbase. This additional dimension is solely allocated for rear-row passengers and the cargo area. Legroom in the rear seats has increased by 102 mm, and the cargo volume has expanded from 3375 liters to 3546 liters.
This electric SUV features a Velocity Max mode that produces 760 horsepower and 1064 Nm of torque. The 205 kWh battery consists of 24 modules, which Cadillac claims is sufficient for a range of 724 kilometers. The 19.2 kW slow charging system can add 58 km of range in one hour, while the fast charging terminal can provide an additional 174 km of charge in 10 minutes.
The model is equipped with the following advanced technologies:
- 55-inch digital display cluster
- AKG Studio audio system (42 speakers)
- 5G Wi-Fi hotspot
- Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional power supply system
- Second-row seats with individual massage and ventilation (Executive Second Row package)
The new Escalade IQL will be offered in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. The starting price is $132,695 (approximately 11.9 billion soums). The SUV will be available for sale worldwide, excluding the United States and Canada. Production will begin in mid-2025 at the Factory Zero plant in Detroit.
