The Chevrolet Trax has entered its second model year with a number of updates. The 2025 model will be presented with new body colors, interior trim options, and a new engine compatible with E85 fuel.
Prices have also been adjusted. The 1LS trim is priced at $21,795, while the 1RS and 1LT versions are valued at $23,795 and $23,995 respectively. The top 2RS and Activ versions start at $25,795. This is slightly more expensive than last year.
There are also changes in the exterior: four colors – Cajun Orange Metallic, Blue Metallic, Aqua Green, and Bronze – have been removed from the assortment, replaced by Gray Green and Ocean Blue Metallic colors.
In the interior trim, the Red Metallic exterior and Black Artemis accents, as well as the Cacti Green exterior and Red accents, are no longer offered.
A significant change has occurred in the engine: the previous 1.2-liter turbo I3 LIH has been replaced with a new I3 LBP engine compatible with E85 fuel. It retains the same power of 137 horsepower and 162 Nm of torque.
The production process of the new Chevrolet Trax continues at GM's plant in South Korea, and it is built on the GM VSS-F platform.
