
The sale of used electric cars in Uzbekistan is growing faster than that of new cars, reported the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CEIR).
In January, the sales of second-hand electric cars in the country increased by 3.1 times, while the sales of new electric cars grew by 30 percent. Overall, at the beginning of the year, the electric vehicle market recorded a 24% growth.
A total of 5,500 electric cars were sold in January. Although the sales of new cars increased by 18.5%, this segment recorded a 15% decline in annual growth.
