Lanzante company announced the production of a new hypercar dedicated to its victory in the "Le-Man 24 Hours" race in 1995, as reported by DK Engineering.
The new model is currently being developed under the name Project 95-59. This name refers to the achievements of the Lanzante team with the McLaren F1 GTR car in 1995. That year, they recorded the best time in the race, achieving victory a whole lap ahead of their closest competitor, the Courage C34 prototype.
Project 95-59 will be equipped with a three-seat interior and a spacious trunk. Additionally, it is expected to be more powerful than the McLaren Speedtail, with 700 horsepower per ton.
The car's design will be developed by designer Paul Howse, who created the McLaren P1, 720S, and Artura models. Lanzante typically pays special attention to aerodynamics, weight reduction, and cooling systems. More details about the new model are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
