The BYD U7 has been presented with a new digital suspension

On the eve of the presentation on March 27, BYD Company showcased the advanced digital suspension capabilities of the new Yangwang U7 electric vehicle, as reported by Speedme.ru. According to the promotional video, a kung-fu master is performing Wing Chun moves on top of the car, which is moving on an uneven road, yet the body hardly moves.
This result has been achieved through the new generation digital suspension called YunNian-Z. It operates without fluids and is controlled directly by electric motors. The system responds to road conditions in just 10 milliseconds, which is several times faster than traditional adaptive dampers.
The Yangwang U7 vehicle is built on a digital chassis that features not only YunNian-Z but also a four-dimensional motion system — YiSiFang. This makes it the world's first mass-produced electric vehicle with full digital body stability.
The model will be available with either a fully electric or hybrid engine and will become the new flagship of the BYD brand. Innovations that were previously only available in aviation or racing technologies are now being integrated into road vehicles — setting a new standard for control and comfort.
