China's premium car manufacturer Lixiang is officially entering the Russian market. According to Cenyavto.com, Sinomach Auto has started operations as the official distributor of this brand and is looking for lawyers, warranty service, and PR managers for its Moscow office.
Previously, Lixiang cars only entered Russia through parallel imports. This led to issues such as lack of service, difficulties in localizing software, and warranty repairs. Now, these problems will be resolved through the official distributor — a complete service network and official warranty system will be established.
Experts believe that Lixiang's entry into Russia is a logically correct step. The brand has achieved a certain level of popularity even with unofficial deliveries. Especially noteworthy are models like the Lixiang L9 — this spacious hybrid crossover can travel up to 1100 km on a single charge.
Sinomach Auto has not yet provided information on the official start date, which models will be available for sale first, and pricing. However, this is good news for fans of the Chinese automotive industry — they will now have the opportunity to purchase Lixiang cars with official service, without "gray" imports.
