Honda has announced the re-release of its famous NSX sports car, according to Daily-motor.ru. The company produced this model between 1990–2005 and 2016–2022. The new generation NSX is expected to debut on the world stage in 2027.
The sports car's exterior and technical aspects will differ significantly from previous generations. It will feature a modern coupe shape, wide wheel arches, space for large discs, unusual LED lights, and door handles hidden in the doors.
The vehicle will be 100% electric, with its electric motors expected to produce over 1000 horsepower. Thanks to a new type of composite batteries being developed by Honda engineers, it will be able to cover a distance of 700 km on a single charge.
Additionally, the latest all-wheel-drive system is also expected to be implemented, but detailed information about this has not yet been disclosed.
The main competitor is seen as the Lexus LFR model, which is expected to feature a 900 horsepower hybrid system. Honda aims to offer the NSX at a lower price, but the exact difference is not yet known. The estimated price of the LFR could be 38 million yen (approximately 4.2 billion soums).
