The 3rd generation model of the Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle is preparing for its debut in 2026, as reported by obozrevatel.com.
The new Bolt design was showcased on the TALKWHEELS channel. It features a compact hatchback appearance, and a crossover variant is also planned. The model will be produced at the GM plant in Kansas City, USA. The plant previously manufactured the Malibu and is currently undergoing modernization.
The car will have an LFP - lithium iron phosphate battery. This will help accelerate and reduce production costs. The expected price is less than $30,000 (approximately 377 million soums).
Initially, GM planned not to produce the new generation Bolt, but due to high demand, the project continued. An even cheaper version may also be presented.
