In Japan, BMW has presented its most "magnificent" crossover — the BMW X7 Black-α Edition, as reported by Daily Motor. This special model is one of the exclusive editions that BMW rarely produces, intended solely for the Japanese market.
The car features a matte black body color named Individual Frozen Black, 22-inch M-wheels, and a luxurious updated interior.
Inside, the central console is decorated using the “maki-e” lacquer technique by Japanese artist Hattori Idzusai and is complemented with “neodymium” decor. There is also a wave-patterned wool carpet made by Kawashima Fabric.
Technically, the Black-α Edition is offered in two versions:
• xDrive40d – a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with 340 horsepower.
• M60i xDrive – a 4.4-liter V8 gasoline turbo engine with 530 horsepower. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The price of the special series in Japan ranges from 16,250,000 yen to 21,400,000 yen, which is approximately 1,300,000,000 to 1,712,000,000 soums.
