Morgan Unveils the Most Powerful Sports Car in Its History
The renowned British automaker Morgan has officially introduced the Supersport 400 roadster to the public, marking it as the most powerful model in the brand's production history. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The new vehicle stands out significantly from all previous models of the brand due to its high technical capabilities and enhanced performance metrics. Through this project, British engineers have successfully harmonized classic design with modern power.
Under the hood of the new sports car lies a 3.0-liter turbo engine manufactured by the German company BMW. This engine produces 402 horsepower, which is 67 horsepower more than previous base models.
Although the engine's torque remains at 500 Newton-meters, the roadster's dynamics have fundamentally improved as a result of the significant increase in overall power. The car now accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.6 seconds.
The vehicle's top speed is set at 290 kilometers per hour, and it is managed exclusively via an eight-speed automatic transmission. One of the most critical tasks facing the engineers was to maintain the car's lightweight nature while increasing its power.
Experts handled this task excellently, keeping the sports car's total weight at 1,170 kilograms. Additionally, the Supersport 400 model is equipped with modern 19-inch alloy wheels and special Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.
To ensure the vehicle's stability on the road, its suspension system has been completely redesigned and updated. The new roadster is offered to buyers with two types of roof options.
Customers can choose between a hardtop or a soft-top version according to their preference. Currently, the starting price for this high-tech sports car in the European market is set at approximately 139,000 euros.
This model will undoubtedly capture the attention of true automotive enthusiasts with its unique style and speed performance.
