General Motors working on updating cabins of budget crossovers

General Motors is working on updating the Chevrolet Trax and Chevrolet Trailblazer, considered the most affordable crossovers on the North American market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to reliable industry sources, amid intensifying competition in the compact crossover segment, the auto giant plans a comprehensive modernization of these models. International media outlets are reporting on these updates.
The expected changes are said to focus mainly on the interior, that is, the cabin of the vehicles. Although the company is keeping the exact details under wraps for now, experts assume that the main focus will be on improving cabin comfort, ease of use, and the quality of materials.
One of the main shortcomings observed in the current models is related to ergonomics: drivers have repeatedly voiced their complaints about the placement of control buttons and various functions. This update is of strategic importance for the Chevrolet brand.
This is because the Trax and Trailblazer models compete in the market with such strong rivals as the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-30, and Subaru Crosstrek. Today, when choosing a car, buyers pay special attention not only to its exterior appearance but also to the technologies and the level of comfort inside.
By improving its crossovers, General Motors aims to make its entry-level models even more attractive on the market. The official presentation date for the updated versions has not yet been announced.
Let us recall that earlier, Chevrolet also shared information about the technical characteristics of the new Silverado ZR2 model, the production of which is expected in 2027.
