Drivers, be careful: fines will sharply increase from July 1!
Starting from July 1, 2025, fines for violating traffic rules in Uzbekistan will significantly increase. This change was adopted to ensure road traffic safety and to enhance discipline among drivers. Below, you can familiarize yourself with the new fine amounts that will come into effect from this date.

The new fine rates for violating traffic rules will be as follows:
  • Not wearing a seatbelt: 206,000 soums (increased compared to the previous fine amount);
  • Driving a vehicle without passing a technical inspection or without a medical kit: 206,000 soums;
  • Driving without carrying documents: 412,000 soums;
  • Driving a vehicle without insurance: 412,000 soums;
  • Ignoring the red light of a traffic signal: 824,000 soums;
  • Parking in unauthorized places (illegal parking): 824,000 soums;
  • Using a phone while driving: 1,236,000 soums;
  • Driving a vehicle without a state number: up to 20,060,000 soums (one of the heaviest fines);
  • Exceeding the speed limit by 20 km/h: 412,000 soums;
  • Driving in the opposite lane: 4,120,000 soums;
  • Driving under the influence: fine of up to 10,300,000 soums or deprivation of driving rights for up to 3 years;
  • Installing tinting on a vehicle without permission: 10,300,000 soums.

The reason for the increase in the aforementioned fines is the rise in road traffic accidents in our country in recent years. It is known that non-compliance with the rules leads to various accidents, even situations that threaten human life. Therefore, this measure was taken to ensure that drivers comply with safety requirements.

Additionally, it is noted that traffic patrol service officers and modern automated monitoring systems will actively work to impose and monitor fines. This means that violations of the new rules will be automatically recorded, which will be an important factor in increasing discipline and preventing violations.

Dear drivers, strictly adhere to traffic rules for your safety and the safety of your loved ones! Let us remind you that safety on the roads is a collective responsibility for all of us. To avoid unpleasant situations related to the updated fines, do not forget to timely pass your vehicles for technical inspection, keep your documents in order, and comply with traffic rules.

May your actions always be safe and reasonable!
