According to Nova24.uz, ahead of the match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates in the World Cup qualifying stage, Uzbekistan citizens are being asked to temporarily postpone their travel to the UAE.
According to information provided to the Tourism Committee by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 5,000 citizens are planning to attend the match. However, the hosts are only allocating 960 seats (8%) for guest fans according to the regulations.
The match will be held at the "Al-Wahda" football club stadium, which is designed for 12,000 people. As a result, many fans may not be able to enter the stadium, which could pose a threat to public safety.
For this reason, security services at UAE airports have begun to implement restrictive measures. In this case, there is also a possibility of deportation.
Therefore, it is recommended to temporarily suspend the organization and promotion of tourist trips to the UAE during the match period.
