The new Land Rover Defender has been unveiled: a revolution in design and technology!
The famous British car manufacturer Land Rover has officially presented a modernized version of one of its most legendary models — the Defender. The new Defender attracts attention not only with its slight changes in exterior appearance but also with its modern and innovative technologies.

In terms of exterior design, the main headlights of the car have been updated. Their design has significantly changed, with the central elements reduced in size compared to the previous model. The rear lights now have a lightly tinted appearance, giving the Defender a sporty and modern look.

One notable aspect is that now all configurations come standard with a black front grille. Additionally, special attention has been paid to the color of the front and rear bumpers. They are now painted in silver or gray tones, making the car's exterior look even more modern and eye-catching.

Looking at the interior, the main and significant innovation is the new generation 13.1-inch large touchscreen multimedia system. This system features high sensitivity and a modern interface, providing the driver with convenience and high-level control options.

In the new Defender model, safety issues have also been given special importance. In particular, a special infrared camera has been introduced to monitor the driver's attention. It is discreetly installed in the steering column and provides immediate warning signals if the driver becomes fatigued or distracted, helping to prevent potential accidents. The driver can adjust the camera's operation mode according to their preference or turn it off completely.

Additionally, for the first time, Land Rover has equipped its Defender model with an adaptive cruise control system tailored for off-road conditions. This technology maximizes the comfort of driving in extremely complex off-road terrains. It automatically monitors the vehicle's speed and the distance to obstacles ahead, providing the driver with easy control even in challenging situations.

Regarding engines, Land Rover has not yet provided specific information about changes. Therefore, experts speculate that the previous reliable engines may remain. These include:
  • 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine (with 246 or 345 horsepower);
  • 2.0-liter gasoline plug-in hybrid engine (296 horsepower, with an electric driving range of up to 48 km);
  • 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine (with 419, 493, and 518 horsepower).

The flagship Octa version will continue to be produced with its previous high-level technical capabilities.

The starting price of the updated Defender in the European market is reported to be around $70,000. Through this, Land Rover aims to maintain an advantage in competition with one of its most popular models. The new Defender can become a reliable and comfortable companion for drivers not only on the road but also in off-road conditions
