Malibu XL contracts ended in one hour — a surprising situation!
On May 29, one of the largest automotive companies in the country, UzAuto Motors, made another sensational announcement. The company announced that it reopened the contracting process for the Chevrolet Malibu XL model at 14:40. As soon as the announcement about the new opportunity was made, hundreds of buyers queued online and attempted to sign contracts for the car.

According to official information, in this round of contracting, each customer had the opportunity to choose the Malibu XL in any color and modification they desired. This was considered a significant achievement compared to previous experiences. However, the customers' joy did not last long.

Because just 42 minutes after the announcement, at 15:22, UzAuto Motors announced that all contracts had been completed. This news surprised and even caused dissatisfaction among many users. The company did not officially disclose the number of contracts — it remained unclear how many cars were offered.

It is worth mentioning that UzAuto had halted the sales of the Malibu model at the beginning of April. The resumption of the contracting process after this temporary pause was highly anticipated by customers.

It should be noted that the "updated" version of the Malibu XL was first launched in March 2023. At that time, the company stated that it would offer this model in three different configurations (XL 1LT – 375 million soums, XL 2LT – 390 million soums, and XL LTZ – 419 million soums). However, in practice, mainly the most expensive — XL LTZ configuration was available for sale.

Additionally, in April of this year, videos circulated on social media showing Malibu-2 cars loaded onto trucks. This situation sparked intense discussions among the public about the new Malibu models. In this regard, UzAuto Motors confirmed that these vehicles were being imported from China.

Thus, the demand for the Malibu XL once again demonstrated its high reputation in the local market. However, the rapid completion of contracts and the lack of transparency in information may raise further questions for ordinary buyers.
