Jaguar Type 01 electric sedan to be showcased in New York

The company confirmed that it will officially unveil its eagerly awaited Type 01 luxury electric sedan in New York this October. This model will be the first step in the brand's strategy to become a fully electric vehicle manufacturer.

This project, previously showcased as a concept car in Miami, will now appear as a model ready for serial production. The choice of the US market indicates that America remains a key and strategically important region for Jaguar.
Technical capabilities and new philosophy The new Type 01 model is expected to impress not only with its design but also with its technical specifications. According to reports, the car's total power will exceed 1,000 horsepower.
JLR CEO PB Balaji emphasized that the expected dynamic performance and driving pleasure for the Jaguar brand can only be provided through electric motors. According to company representatives, the model's name embodies three important elements.
The "Type" prefix signifies that it is a successor to the C-Type, which won the Le Mans races in 1951, as well as the legendary D-Type, E-Type, and F-Type models. The number "0" represents the car's zero-emissions movement.
The number "1" indicates that it is the first representative of the Jaguar brand's new era. The model is expected to compete with strong rivals such as the Porsche Taycan and Lucid Air in the market.
At a time when interest in premium-class electric vehicles is growing in the Uzbekistan automotive market, the Jaguar Type 01 could attract the attention of local enthusiasts with its rich history and futuristic technologies. Currently, Type 01 prototypes are being tested at testing grounds in Sweden and on various racing tracks.
