The quality of AvtoVAZ Lada models was improved by X-ray inspection
AvtoVAZ, Russia's largest automobile manufacturer, is extensively using a special X-ray control system to elevate the quality and safety of Lada models to a new level. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This modern technology allows for the detection of internal defects that are invisible to the naked eye. Such a high-tech approach is of critical importance in ensuring the durability and reliability of automobile components.

Industry specialists and information publications are reporting on this news. Modern X-ray devices installed in the company's laboratory meticulously inspect parts made of both cast iron and aluminum.

The inspection process primarily involves the most critical nodes of the car, such as engine blocks, crankshafts, crankcases, and cylinder heads. Even the smallest crack or invisible void in these parts could lead to the unexpected failure of the entire assembly in the future.

Therefore, X-ray control serves as a key factor in preventing such risks. The quality control process is carried out in a very strict manner.

After every metal melting process, special samples are sent to the laboratory. Using specialized equipment, specialists are succeeding in detecting extremely small defects within the part, down to 0.1 millimeters.

This high level of precision serves to significantly reduce the share of defective products in the production process and improve overall quality. Currently, AvtoVAZ uses this X-ray system to inspect more than 150 different types of components.

This applies not only to the models currently coming off the conveyor belt but also to the company's promising future projects. Before introducing new parts into mass production, engineers analyze their internal structure and verify their compliance with all technical requirements.

According to experts, these strict control measures may be directly linked to the company's new project, the Lada Azimut crossover. Before launching the new model on the market, every part is required to fully comply with international standards.

This indicates that the manufacturer is striving to maintain its reputation and gain the trust of customers. Considering that Lada brand products hold their own place in the Uzbekistan automobile market, the manufacturer's serious approach to quality control is welcome news for local consumers as well.

Eliminating hidden defects at the production stage extends the service life of the vehicles and helps ensure overall safety on the roads. Such technological innovations serve to increase competitiveness in the industry.
