New procedure for checking cars at gas stations introduced

Starting from September 1, a new procedure for inspecting vehicles at methane gas filling stations will be introduced. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to this procedure, methane will not be filled into vehicles that have not passed the technical inspection, whose gas cylinders have not been tested, or that do not have the required documents. The new rule also applies to vehicles with expired gas cylinders.
When such cars arrive at the station, the system will automatically check their data. Special smart cameras will be installed at the relevant gas supply services.
They will identify the vehicle's state registration plate and compare the vehicle information with a single electronic database. If the car is included in the system's blacklist, methane filling will be automatically blocked.
No separate decision from the station employee is required for this. Vehicles that will not be filled with methane include: vehicles that have not passed the technical inspection, cars whose gas cylinders have not been tested, cars with expired gas cylinders, and vehicles that lack the necessary documents.
