The BMW M3 Touring will also be produced in the new Neue Klasse generation.

Germany's BMW Group will continue the production of the M3 Touring, one of its most famous sports cars, in the generation based on the new Neue Klasse platform. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision is linked to an unexpected sharp increase in demand for this body type in major markets such as the USA and China. Although the M3 sedan has reached its sixth generation, its touring version only appeared in 2021 with the G80 generation.
According to Autocar, the success of the current model has surprised the company's management. The new generation M3 Touring will be created based on the recently unveiled Vision M Neue Klasse concept.
While the current model is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with 523 horsepower, the future model is expected to be presented in both internal combustion engine and fully electric versions. According to Sylvia Neubauer, head of BMW M sales, the M3 Touring has become one of the most successful models in the brand's portfolio.
Interestingly, in the Chinese market, which traditionally dislikes station wagons, this model has become a true status symbol. Although the standard 3 Series Touring is not sold in China, the M3 Touring model specifically was welcomed with great demand.
A similar situation is observed in the USA. American consumers usually prefer SUVs and large-sized vehicles, but the M3 Touring has managed to find its place in this market.
Neubauer noted that dealers do not need to make extra effort to sell this model, as customers themselves are queuing up. The new generation M3 Touring may feature a quad-motor system equipped with four electric motors.
This will take the car's dynamic performance to a completely new level. Unlike its main competitor, Mercedes-Benz, BMW aims to leave the choice to the customers.
That is, customers will be able to choose between the traditional gasoline and modern electric versions. In the Uzbekistan automotive market, BMW's sports models, particularly the M series, also have their enthusiasts.
Although the sedan body is popular in our region, the global trend for station wagons may also influence the local premium segment. The new Neue Klasse platform represents not only a technological leap for BMW but also a complete renewal of its design philosophy.
The company plans to increase production volumes, as demand remains several times higher than supply. This indicates that the future of the M3 Touring model is bright and that it will not leave the assembly line in the coming years.
