BMW company has unveiled the first images of its new generation crossover

German automaker BMW has released the first official images of the new generation of its popular X5 crossover, according to Zamin.uz.
The vehicle is being developed based on the brand’s entirely new design philosophy, called Neue Klasse, which is expected to bring not only a refreshed exterior but also a new chapter in the model’s history in terms of technical capabilities. Although the teaser shared by the manufacturer on social media does not show the car in full detail, distinctive features have already caught the attention of specialists and brand enthusiasts.
One of the most striking elements of the new model is the design of the rear lights. The images show that the lighting system is shaped like four X letters.
This approach has not been seen in previous models of the brand and gives the crossover a modern and unique appearance. Minimalist lines and high-tech solutions form the foundation of the new X5’s design language.
The car is currently undergoing final testing and is confirmed to be equipped with the latest intelligent systems to assist the driver. According to the company, the full unveiling of the new BMW X5 model will take place on June 30 of this year.
At this event, details about the interior, all technical specifications, and sales timelines will be provided. It is important to note that this update is not a simple facelift but a completely redesigned generation of the model.
As evidence of this, the manufacturer will offer five different types of power units to customers. Specifically, the new generation will be available with traditional gasoline and diesel engines, hybrid systems, as well as versions running on full electric and hydrogen power.
In developing the hydrogen-powered model, BMW specialists are working closely with Japan’s Toyota company. Hydrogen vehicles stand out for their ability to travel long distances and refuel quickly.
The first test prototypes in this direction were shown to the public last summer. Company leadership considers hydrogen technology to be one of the key pillars of the future of automotive manufacturing, and the new X5 could become the first series-produced model in this direction.
Thus, the new generation X5 aims to secure a leading position in the global market through its versatility and innovative solutions.
