«AvtoVAZ» is conducting final tests of the new «Lada Azimut» crossover
Russia's AvtoVAZ company has begun the final laboratory testing of its new Lada Azimut crossover, Zamin.uz reports.

The new model is being prepared for the toughest operating conditions using the plant's most advanced technological capabilities. This process is one of the key stages in ensuring the vehicle's long-term durability and quality.

Specialized automotive publications have provided detailed information about this development. According to reports, the new model is undergoing tests on a modern vibration stand recently commissioned at the Volzhsk Automobile Plant.

This setup is capable of reproducing real road conditions with high precision. Engineers previously converted data from gravel roads, potholes, and various artificial irregularities on test tracks into digital form.

This information is now being used to check the vehicle's durability in laboratory conditions. During the tests, hydraulic actuators apply strong vibrations to the vehicle's body, which is equipped with special sensors.

This method allows engineers to assess the strength of each component, especially load-bearing parts designed for mass production, in practice. For the Lada Azimut, this is one of the final and decisive checks before the start of mass production.

A unique feature of the new test setup is its combination with a special climatic chamber. This allows the crossover to be tested simultaneously for resistance to strong vibrations and extreme temperature fluctuations.

During the tests, the air temperature varies from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. Such tests ensure the vehicle's reliable operation under any conditions.

This comprehensive approach helps simulate several years of real-world use in an accelerated mode. This is especially important for determining the vehicle's adaptability in regions like Uzbekistan, where summer temperatures can rise sharply and winter conditions can be severe.

At present, preliminary prototype units of the Lada Azimut model are being assembled, and preparations for mass production are underway. This model is expected to find its place in the regional automotive market in the near future.
