Which cars are being produced the most in Uzbekistan?

The Statistics Agency reported which cars are produced the most in Uzbekistan recently.

According to the published analysis, the production of passenger cars in Uzbekistan decreased in January. The most produced car this January was the Cobalt — 5,660 units (68 percent more than the same period last year).

Additionally, in January 2025:
- 2,765 units of Damas;
- 1,978 units of Kia;
- 1,462 units of Onix;
- 1,334 units of Tracker;
- 802 units of BYD;
- 594 units of Chery;
- 643 units of special passenger cars;
- 373 units of Haval cars were produced.

Previously, the Statistics Agency had disclosed information about the industrial production volume for January 2025.

According to it, the production of automotive gasoline also decreased in January 2025 — 99 tons. In the same period last year, this figure was 124.6 tons. In January, especially, the production volume of diesel sharply decreased. In the first month of winter, 33.2 tons of diesel were produced, while in January 2024 this figure was 50.2 tons.

In January, the prices of popular local cars decreased compared to December 2024.

Specifically:

• Onix: less used — decreased by 2.4 percent (from $14,350 to $14,000), more used — decreased by 1.5 percent (from $13,000 to $12,800);
• Lacetti: less used — decreased by 0.7 percent (from $15,000 to $14,900), average used — decreased by 1.4 percent (from $14,500 to $14,300), more used — decreased by 1.7 percent (from $13,327 to $13,095);
• Cobalt: less used — decreased by 1.4 percent (from $12,901 to $12,725), average used — decreased by 2.4 percent (from $12,300 to $12,000), more used — decreased by 1.7 percent (from $11,700 to $11,500);
• Nexia: average used — decreased by 1.8 percent (from $11,400 to $11,200); more used — decreased (from $10,500 to $10,465);
• Spark: average used — decreased by 1 percent (from $10,300 to $10,200), more used — decreased by 1.1 percent (from $9,300 to $9,200);
• Damas: less used — decreased by 0.5 percent (from $8,135 to $8,098), average used — decreased by 1.4 percent (from $8,000 to $7,886), more used — decreased by 4.1 percent (from $7,300 to $7,000).

Prices of local luxury cars

While an increase was observed in the average prices of less used Equinox and Malibu cars, the prices for average and more used ones continued to decrease.

Specifically:

• Malibu: average used — decreased by 2.1 percent (from $29,100 to $28,500), more used — decreased by 1.6 percent (from $25,000 to $24,600), while the average price for less used increased by 1.2 percent (from $29,650 to $30,000);
• Equinox: average used — decreased by 1.6 percent (from $30,500 to $30,000), while the average price for more used (at $26,500) remained unchanged, and for less used increased by 0.9 percent (from $34,000 to $34,308);
• Tracker: less used — decreased by 1.6 percent (from $18,700 to $18,403), average used — decreased by 2.3 percent (from $17,700 to $17,300), more used — decreased by 2.9 percent (from $17,000 to $16,500).

Prices of electric vehicles

During this period, while the prices of more used BYD E2: (at $15,250) and Yuan Up (at $20,000) electric vehicles remained unchanged, a decrease was observed in the average prices of other electric vehicles:

• BYD E2: new — decreased by 1.8 percent (from $17,100 to $16,800), average used — decreased by 2.9 percent (from $15,970 to $15,500);
• BYD Han: new — decreased by 0.9 percent (from $32,500 to $32,200), more used — decreased by 2.9 percent (from $31,750 to $31,250);
• BYD Song Plus DM-i Champion: new — decreased by 0.3 percent (from $29,100 to $29,000), average used — decreased by 1.1 percent (from $27,200 to $26,900), more used — decreased by 2.8 percent (from $24,999 to $24,300);
• BYD Song Plus EV Champion: new — decreased by 1.4 percent (from $28,500 to $28,090), average used — decreased by 3.6 percent (from $26,600 to $25,650), more used — decreased by 2.9 percent (from $24,050 to $23,350).

Prices of foreign cars

• Elantra: average used — decreased by 2.3 percent (from $21,500 to $21,000); more used — decreased by 4.8 percent (from $21,000 to $19,995);
• Tucson: less used — decreased by 1.5 percent (from $33,500 to $33,000), average used — decreased by 0.8 percent (from $31,750 to $31,500); more used — decreased by 2 percent (from $25,500 to $25,000);
• Sportage: less used — decreased by 1.4 percent (from $29,000 to $28,600), average used — decreased by 1.8 percent (from $27,500 to $27,000);
• Seltos: more used — decreased by 2.1 percent (from $23,500 to $23,000).
