A Chevrolet Corvette resembling a jet aircraft is being produced!
The European tuning studio Mxtrem Automobili has announced a project to transform the Chevrolet Corvette sports car into an extreme supercar styled like a jet. According to Motor1.com, this model will feature an aerodynamic body made of hydrocarbon materials, an imitation of a jet engine, and even a rocket model. A total of 12 units are planned to be produced, with their price currently unknown.
The teaser images show rocket models placed on the front bumper and rear section. The rear of the car is equipped with jet engine exhaust pipes and vertical stabilizers similar to those found on fighter jets. Inside the cabin, instead of a classic steering wheel, an aircraft yoke is used, with red switches on the dashboard and an unknown purpose joystick located in the central tunnel.
The project is named Maverick, and the manufacturer describes it as a "flying car on wheels." This supercar will be produced in only 12 units and is primarily intended for collectors. Customers can choose one of the versions based on their preference: Stingray, enhanced Z06, or hybrid E-Ray.
At the same time, the presentation of the most powerful version of the Chevrolet Corvette — the ZR1 model — is also approaching. It will be equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine with twin turbochargers under the LT7 factory code. This engine produces 1079 horsepower and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
